By the present letter I want to invite you, as the chair of a
phenomenology society, to join the program of our forthcoming Third World
Congress of Phenomenology.
Please do inform the members of your society about the Congress and invite them to participate in it with a lecture on a topic of your choice.
Would you care to organize a session? You are most welcome.

WIDE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE THIRD MILLENNIUM Historical Research; Great
Phenomenological Issues; Present Day Developments - Date: August 15 - 21, 2004
will take place at the historical site of Wadham College, Oxford University. As
the theme of the Congress indicates, it is planned to spread in all the sectors
of phenomenology. The papers of the Congress will be published in the Analecta
Husserliana where the two previous World Congresses can be found. There will be
affordable housing available. A favor of your response will be appreciated. I
would like to attract your and your membership's attention to the Encyclopedia
of Learning, "PHENOMENOLOGY WORLD-WIDE, Foundations -- Expanding dynamics --
Life-engagements, A Guide for Research and Study", published by Kluwer Academic
Publishers, 2002.

(The First World Congress of Phenomenology was held to celebrate the Fiftieth
Anniversary of Husserl's death, by the World Phenomenology Institute in Santiago
de Compostela, Spain, 1988, cf. Analecta Husserliana Volumes XXXIV, XXXV, XXXVI,
XXXVII. The second was held in Guadalajara, Mexico, 1995, cf. Analecta
Husserliana Volumes LII, LIII, LIV, LV.)
